company your website will be down for a
couple of days due to change in DNS. You will also have to move all
your files and database over to the new server but the real problems
would be when your existing links are not working in some
of your files because they are pointing at the
wrong direction. So do you want to
waste your time
trouble shooting
or spend your
time promoting your business? It is best to choose
the right hosting company before

your business.

products with very low gravities because that could mean that they
aren’t selling very well, although it could also mean that
the product is new and hasn’t built up a large volume of
affiliates actively promoting it yet. For e.g. if you are
choosing a digital product to sell from Clickbank. From its
marketplace you can sort through products by popularity or by gravity.
Remember don't always look at high popularity products but take note
also at the gravity number. Consider choosing a product with gravity
numbers of between 60 to 140 as promoting a highly popular product
means you are going to compete with many experienced affiliate
marketers. Follow this method means it helps to level the
playing
field for you if you are new to affiliate marketing.
Products that appear first when you search a topic are generally the
products that are selling well. New products that have just been
launched can also be good sellers but may not have been on the market
long enough to have high stats yet. In fact, getting in on a product
when it is first launched can be very profitable.
You will also want to consider the price of a product when choosing
which products to promote. Expensive products may be harder to promote
and harder to get a lot of sales but at the same time, cheaper products
won’t give you as big a commission per sale.
As you can see, there are advantages and disadvantages to both.
Personally, we tend to aim for prices in the middle range that convert
well and still give a reasonably good commission per sale.
If you can find an expensive product that converts well, and if you can
find a good sales tactic that will get you tons of sales, then you can
do really well with these products. There are many people out
there who do it this way, and as a result of the higher commissions,
they don’t have to make as many sales to still earn a good
income.
I would summarize as follows what you should look out for in selecting
a suitable product to promote :
a) Look at the product and commission rates - aim for 50% or
more to make your efforts worthwhile.
b) Look for in-demand products -

that appear first when you search a topic in the marketplace
(Clickbank) are generally the
products that are selling well.
c) Look at the sales page - read it yourself and
confirm it does a good job of convincing you to buy the
product.

product that you are promoting). This is to prevent a
customer from substituting his own nickname and getting commission for
the purchase. I know of a site that provides a
